Migratory stop in Saint-Barthelemy
Since 1997, the Lanaudiere Society of ornithology offers animation to visitors who, every spring season, come to admire the geese, barnacle geese and ducks passing through the region. The club members share their passion with all people coming to enjoy this unique sight. A permanent footbridge, built in 2003, allows all nature lovers to fully enjoy the site without disturbing the resting fauna.

The Conservation Society, interpretation and research of Berthier and its islands is a non-profit organization that manages the trails of the Commune and of l'Île du Milieu. The latter, with a total length of 10 km, one can observe the typical fauna and flora of Lake St. Pierre.

Cuthbert Chapel (Chapelle des Cuthbert)
The Cuthbert Chapel Berthier is the oldest Protestant chapel erected in Quebec. The Chapel of Cuthbert, originally designated as the chapel of St. Andrew, patron of Scotland, was acquired by the Government of Quebec on December 2nd 1927 and became a historical monument March 30, 1958.

Custom ice fishing is a legacy of Native Americans, ice fishing (is also known as white fishing) is practiced everywhere in Quebec when the ice covering the lakes and rivers is frozen and thick enough.
To counter the effects of wind and practice their hobby longer, fishermen settle in small huts that are placed on the ice fields.

The first church of Berthier was blessed in 1729 and was located in the park opposite the church. It was replaced by the present church which was opened for worship in 1787.
In 1812, two towers wee built on the front of the church and the statue of Saint Genevieve was installed in 1821. The sacristy was enlarged in 1839 and the church was enlarged in 1844 by was decorated by Amable Gauthier.

L'International Snocross Louiseville du 1er au 3 février 2013 présentera lors de sa troisième édition une manche de la Crown East América Cup. La participation sera de plus de 300 équipes en provenance de partout du Canada et de l'Est des États-Unis.
Cette couronne a pour but de couronner le meilleur pilote de Snocross en Amérique. Les fédérations de l'Ontario (CSRA), des États-Unies (ECS) et du Québec (SCMX) ont travaillé conjointement afin de créer les plus grosses courses de Snocross au monde.
